User Interface and players:

The User Interface of the Samsung Wave GT S8500 handset is very smooth and provides a pleasant experience when used, being the TouchWiz UI 3.0. The user interface is one of the best ones which you shall find in the contemporary handsets these days. Being one of the most attractive facets of the handset, the User Interface of the Wave has been made very user friendly and easy to master. For example, the messaging of the phone has been provided with the threaded view concept prevalent in most handsets these days. The menu screen has been made to be swiping horizontally, and the app icons are quite large and distinct for the purpose of tapping. The best part about the interface is that all of this is customizable and can be made to suite the user requirements. Even the audio/ video players are excellent to the purpose.

For the Bada operating system, Samsung has provided the Samsung App Store where you may get all the essential apps required, mostly for free. This is the main advantage of the Bada Operating System.

Final Verdict:

My final verdict about the handset is that it is a pleasant buy, and is truly worth the price you pay for the handset. The handset is very similar in features and specs to the Samsung Galaxy, and you are getting this in about 200 USD lesser than the Galaxy, the main difference being the OS. So, if you are not an Android fan, and wish to get a handset quite dynamic and feature-rich, then I suggest that this is a nice handset to buy.
